How much does cotillion cost?
Cotillion costs $270 for eight one hour and fifteen minute dances.
Where is it held?
We have two locations. Most dances are held at The Woman's Club located downtown at 211 East Franklin St. Some groups meet in the far west end at the Fox Hall Clubhouse located at 13550 Causeway Drive. Click here for more specific directions.
Where do I park?
There is a small parking lot at the Woman's Club and one across the street as well as ample street parking. A policeman is on hand to assist. There is a large parking lot at Fox Hall.
How do I get in a carpool?
We do not organize carpools. You would need to contact someone you know who lives nearby or attends your school and is also planning to attend cotillion on the same night as your child.
What do girls wear?
- All Dances
- No bare midriffs, please
- Formal and semi formal dances
- Long or short party dresses (6th and 7th grades, white gloves, no strapless dresses)
- Casual
- Jeans are acceptable
- Nice Casual
- Skirt or pants outfit
What do boys wear?
- All Dances
- No tennis shoes; shirttails must be tucked in
- Formal and semi formal dances
- Suits or sport coats, slacks, ties

What about Holly Ball?
Girls provide their own nosegay. No fresh berries please. Boys wear a boutonniere. All parents are invited to dance with their son or daughter at the end of the Holly Ball and at the end of the Valentine Dance. In the sixth grade, only the parent dancing with his or her child may attend due to fire regulations.
Where do I buy white gloves?
They can be bought at some boutique children's clothing shops.
Who is allowed to observe?
All parents are welcome to observe the dances. Semi Formal attire is requested. Students may not invite friends who are not cotillion members. Please do not allow your child to bring gum to cotillion. Please do not bring younger siblings to cotillion.
Where do I go if my child is missing something he or she brought to cotillion?
There is a lost and found box in the hall at cotillion. Please label all coats, sweaters, purses, etc. with the child's name.
How do I find out about weather cancellations?
We do not automatically cancel events when schools are closed. Cancellations will be announced on our website and via email after 12 noon. Please notify your carpools.
How do I enroll my child in cotillion?
To complete an application for placement on a waiting list, please click here and complete the online form. Your child will be placed on a waiting list for the 2009-2010 cotillion year.
How do I enroll a sibling in cotillion?
We will make every effort to place a younger sibling in cotillion provided registration for placement in the 6th grade cotillion is made in writing by October 1st of the sibling's 5th grade year.
